SOCIAL VOICEMAIL
NUANCE
Social Voicemail was a short animated video done for Nuance that showcases their social voicemail features that work in sync with the Facebook Messenger App. The Social Voicemail feature allows for a seamless voice to text integration into the Facebook Messenger App.
Due to the requirement of the animation being extremely short and succinct, the storyboard needed to be as close to the final animation as possible, in terms of the actual frames as well as the visual style.
The visual style of the animation needed to work in tandem with the graphic guidelines that nuance already used for their communications. This required us to create a visual style that was simple, clean, easy to read especially during a short animation that would primarily be seen on mobile phones.
After a few rounds of iterations, the final style was selected for its clarity as well as for being closest to the already existing graphic guidelines.
